My Digital Garden and Showcase to the world

IN PROGRESS
#web

Building my Website

One of the main things I had clear when jumping from ideas to execution was that I needed to practice with a website that fulfilled several objectives at the same time:

  • Be my online CV: A place to show my experience and skills in an updated way
  • Reflect who I am: Not just what I know how to do, but my personality, values and way of approaching problems
  • Show my evolution: Document both what I want to become and the path I'm taking to get there
  • A Digital Garden: An organic space to pour ideas, reflections and knowledge without the pressure of perfection
  • Portfolio of projects in development: Show transparently what I'm working on, even when it's still in progress

The idea was to create something more authentic than a traditional CV, but more structured than a personal blog. I wanted a space where people could get to know my work, but also where other developers could find value in my learning process.

The Experiment: Claude Code + Obsidian

What makes this project special is the workflow I've developed. After much research on how to build a personal website, I came across some NoCodeHackers videos that introduced me to Claude Code. As a heavy Obsidian user, I saw the perfect opportunity to combine both tools:

  • Claude Code for agile development without complications
  • Obsidian as my natural content creation system
  • Next.js and TailwindCSS as a solid technical foundation

Every entry on this site is born as a note in Obsidian, where I reflect on what I'm learning, the problems I encounter and the solutions I discover.

What I've Learned

This project has taught me something more valuable than code:

  1. Lose the fear: Building a personal website from scratch is no longer scary
  2. Do it my way: I don't need to follow templates, I can create something that truly represents me
  3. Start imperfect: Better done than perfect, I can always iterate
  4. Public process: Share the journey, not just the destinations
  5. Smart tools: Claude Code democratizes web development

The Future Plan

This site will be my permanent showcase to the world. A place where I can show what I work on, what I create and how both things evolve over time.

Each new project, each learning, each experiment will have its space here. Not as a static portfolio, but as a living testimony of my professional and personal growth.

Why I Share This

I believe in learning in public. This site is my commitment to document the journey, not just the destinations. If someone can learn something from my mistakes or find inspiration in my experiments, it will have been worth it.

This digital garden is constantly growing. Each visit may reveal new flowers... or weeds that I'm still learning to prune.
